The first meeting will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at 2:00pm (This is flexible depending on the feedback I receive). The location is TBA but will be in the central DC area. It is time that we finally come together and meet on the common ground of curly hood. For all who are not familiar with me, my name is Sabrina Garba and I am in month 10 of my transition and I am loving it. Some of you are newly natural, some are waiting for the right moment to "BC", and some are Pros in the game of natural beauty. All those stages are vital to the successful transition and the achievement of healthy hair for curlies. My transition has taught me the neccesity of support when it comes to learning how to manage and style your newly discovered kinks and curls. The Curly Club's purpose is to be a forum for curlies to learn about their hair, have a place to find support against judgements and opposition, and a place to just have fun.
