And The Product Junky Strikes Again....

Hey Curlies,

I ordered two products from the infamous KINKY CURLY line about a week ago and they came in yesterday.

WOO HOO

The first is the Kinky Curly Knot Today 32 oz bottle which I purchased for $44.00.

I know it sounds like a lot but I use it everyday and I am about to start mixing it by using Kimmaytubes leave-in conditioner recipe.

Last but not least is the 8 oz Kinkly Curly Curling Custard for $17.99.

I have yet to use these products together but once I do I will be sure to do a Product Review for my fellow curlies...

Nature Natural Inspiration on My Birthday

Hey Curlies!

I know it has been a while but don't worry you havent missed much... well at least not on the hair front.

August 29th, 2010 was my 21st birthday!!! Yea I know, I know, I'm a young one... I hear it all time. (I never felt young until this birthday and I am loving this new feeling of "having my whole life ahead of me")

Any way I will give you a brief overview of my birthday trip.

Even though it was supposed to be a group trip it turned out to be a couple's thing which worked out just fine. My Co-Worker Sarita (who is also a Curly), her boyfriend, me and my not boyfriend-boyfriend (as a friend of my would call it) all went to Blue Mountain in Front, Royal Virginia. We stayed in a cabin at a place called Hot Tub Heaven and trust, it is just like it sounds.

We got there at about 10pm on Friday night, made a MASSIVE bowl of guacamole (one of my 1st loves), after murdering the dip with some chips, immediately had drinks while we lounged in the hot tub. The next morning we woke up and ate breakfast on the deck (the sounds of nature were absolutely lulling). We layed around, watched a few Movies and then decided to go to a vineyard for some wine tasting.

Let me go on record that we had an amazing time and learned alot about wine at Fox Meadows Vineyard....

That evening we walked from the cabin to a nearby lake where we hung our feet off the dock, watched the fish (and fishers) and just took in life...

After our adventure with nature we went back to the cabin and made a massive BBQ which consisted of Chicken, Shrimp, Corn, Grilled vegetables, Salad and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember.

The next morning we went to the Apple House for lunch.... The burgers were HUGE.

Last but not least on our way out of town we hit up a horse stable where we did an hour long trail ride through the forest....

To say the least I enjoyed it thoroughly and I would go back at the drop of a dime.... The calmness and serenity of my birthday trip was exactly what I needed... I helped my to continue to stay....
